We enjoy to write, create, and publish books, and offer storytellers various services to help them create their own book.
Some writers prefer to use a typewriter or hand-write their manuscript. However, these manuscripts are not suitable for submission or publication to create a book. If you would like to create a book, or share a handwritten memoir or handwritten pages with family or others, we would like to help you. We will type your handwritten material into an editable, workable word document, ready to be submitted, edited or published as you wish.
How it works
First, we will review a sample of your manuscript and assess the following, in order to establish a quote for the typing service: estimated word count, how easy the manuscript is to read (legibility of handwriting), and estimated number of hours for the service.
Once we have assessed the project, we will email you a quote.
The finished work will be sent to you as an email attachment. Our standard format is Microsoft Word, but we can email you the attachment as a PDF file. If you prefer a CD or a hard copy, we can offer this service for an additional fee (printing cost plus shipping).
Please note: Our service does not include any editorial input, only correct spelling and punctuation during the re-typing. We can however recommend you a list of editors.
Creating a Book Cover
Your cover will include your book's title, subtitle (if you have one), author name, your own artwork, or personal photos.
For the front cover, you'll provide the elements, such as the title, author name, artwork or photos.
For the back cover, you'll provide a short description of your book, a short author biography and author photo (optional). We can also add additional information, e.g. published book reviews, depending on the space available.
Feel free to send us your own custom artwork or personal photos. Please keep in mind that the images must meet specific printer requirements.
We will email you a first proof of your cover. After you have reviewed the first proof, you can send us one round of corrections or adjustments. After the first proof we will make your requested changes for free, and you'll receive your approved cover as a PDF file. Changes requested after the initial round of free correction, will result with an additional fee.
